Have you ever wondered what the secret behind Ducati Corse’s MotoGP victories is? The skill of its riders, passion, but also and above all the ability to innovate. And since the Ducati Corse team announced its partnership with MegaRide, the results have been clear to see.
MegaRide is an academic spin-off of Federico II University of Naples, named innovative startup of the year by Shark Bites at the National Innovation Award. The company’s core business involves providing software developed to predict and simulate tire behavior, helping assess tire performance and allowing customers to define their setup and race strategies ahead of events such as those in the MotoGP championship.
But why are we telling you about them?
Among its many activities, 3DRap develops hardware and software components for the esports market. In other words, the world of computer-simulated sports, particularly online driving simulators, which in the United States generates approximately 100 billion dollars and is growing by 10% each year. In this field, real-time motorsport simulations play an important role.
MegaRide – applied vehicle research and 3DRap, companies based at the Campania NewSteel incubator (located within Città della Scienza), will launch a trial aimed at testing synergistic technologies for use in the sector.
We are particularly pleased to announce this partnership, which will represent another opportunity for growth for both companies.
