The lockdown imposed due to the spread of Covid-19 brought part of production to a halt, but not the opportunity to embark on new collaborations. In fact, 3DRap has signed a new agreement to supply sim racing equipment to the very young Formula 3 champion, Matteo Nannini, who will be able to train for his upcoming races, as soon as it is possible to return to the track, with the 3DRap F1 Rim Add-On Carbon steering wheel, mounted on the Drive Game Seat simulator rig.

Matteo Nannini, born in Faenza on July 10, 2003, made his debut in 2010 with a Parolin kart in the 35cc Delfino category, where he began cultivating his passion for four wheels. In 2012, he achieved his first success with third place in the 50cc Championkart Championship, finishing on the podium in every race. In 2013, he moved up to the 60cc category, taking third place in the Championship. But his first major successes came in 2014, when he won the title of Italian Champion. The following year, despite being only 11 years old, he moved up to the 125cc category, where he finished second on his debut. In 2016, he won the Italian Championship in the 125cc category, and in 2017 he competed in the WSK and European Championship, taking pole position at Sarno and a third-place finish. In 2018, he competed in the Italian karting championship in the X30 Senior category, once again winning the Santa Rosa Trophy in Viterbo. That same year, he began his first tests in Formula 4, making his debut in the Formula 4 UAE championship in 2019, where he won the championship title. He also took part in the first round of Spanish Formula 4, finishing second. After his victory in the United Arab Emirates, Matteo moved up to Formula Regional 3 and competed in the Italia Academy Circuit trophy, where he finished first in the standings. He then took part in the final round of the Renault Formula 3 Championship in Abu Dhabi, taking third place in qualifying and fifth place in the race. During the collective Rookie tests organized by Renault, Matteo stood out by setting not only the fastest overall time but also a new track record of 2.07.901. He then took part in a series of tests at the Barcelona and Valencia circuits behind the wheel of a GP3 car, once again demonstrating his talent by finishing first in most sessions.
The 3DRap Steering Wheel
The young Nannini will soon have the 3DRap steering wheel in his hands. Thanks to its light weight and the quality of its materials, it will offer the champion a fully immersive driving experience. Assembled with carbon-fiber plates and hand-stitched faux Alcantara grips, it features carbon-fiber gearshift paddles with a magnetic mechanism.

The front plate features a 4.3″ display that can be configured using the side buttons, each of which can be customized with the Z1Dashboard software. Completing the setup are 14 customizable buttons and 3 customizable encoders. It is a steering wheel that the Formula 4 driver will put to excellent use while training from his Drive Game Seat rig, helping him secure many more successes on the track.
