This historic discipline has its roots in 1946, the year the Vespa was born. Making the event even more special was the collaboration between 3DRap Factory and Vespa Club Avellino, through which we created the official awards for the participants.

Thanks to our experience in 3D printing and digital design, we created one-of-a-kind awards, fully customized for the occasion. Each trophy was designed to combine modern design and vintage spirit, celebrating the timeless passion for the Vespa and the skill of the riders who competed on a technical and spectacular course.
What is Vespa gymkhana?
For those unfamiliar with it, gymkhana is a motorcycle obstacle-course discipline that tests the rider’s precision, quick reactions and control of the vehicle. The course—set up in a designated, marked-off area—includes obstacles such as cones, slaloms, U-turns, small bridges, jumps and objects to move or pick up. Riders must tackle everything as quickly as possible without ever putting their feet on the ground. Any penalty—knocking over a cone, leaving the course or completing a sequence incorrectly—has a significant impact on the final score, making the challenge as technical as it is fun.

The collaboration between 3DRap Factory and Vespa Club Avellino grew out of a shared desire to celebrate the local area, support local events and promote technology-driven craftsmanship. The awards we created are more than simple objects: they are unique pieces made with 3D printing, symbolizing the commitment, precision and dedication that drive both gymkhana and our daily work.
