On Saturday, February 18, the Apple iOS Developer Academy in Naples opens its doors for the first day of the second edition of the We Start Challenge, the largest competition for social-impact startups in the Campania region.
We Start, a think tank created through a collaboration between the Impact and Rotaract Zona Partenopea associations, aims to build an ecosystem that shares best practices and the state of the art in “Social Impact” and actively helps train entrepreneurs who can shape their businesses to serve the community. How? By providing young people with the know-how and practical tools to create and develop projects and startups with a strong social-impact focus… On Saturday morning, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., entrepreneurs and industry experts will speak to kick off the challenge: the 12 selected startups will present their innovative projects for the area’s economic development, and a panel of experts (including a TIM representative) will select the eight that will enter the incubation program. An exceptional opportunity for the teams and the entire region to contribute to the development of Campania’s #Impact ecosystem.
In addition to two months of incubation at “Città Della Scienza”, access to the “012 Factory Academy” program and support in applying for numerous calls for proposals, the collaboration with TIM will give the startup chosen the opportunity to join the TIM OPEN community and use TIM’s innovative IT services for one year.
