New developments at 3DRap never take a holiday! We have revamped our range of steering wheels designed for Sim Racing, making them more ergonomic and more attractive to both look at and touch. All our steering wheel kits have been revised and updated thanks to feedback from drivers and enthusiasts of both virtual and real-world motor racing. In fact, we are successfully continuing our #fromvirtualtoreal project, which continues to give us great satisfaction on real tracks too, alongside Formula Predator’s drivers and the SimRacingZone.net team.
The main updates to the steering wheels involved the grips, which are now more ergonomic and designed to provide a firm, precise hold, and the magnetic paddle mechanism, which is now more robust thanks in part to the introduction of aluminum and carbon fiber. The design of our steering wheel plates has also changed, making them even more visually appealing.
Drivers are also highly satisfied with 3DRap steering wheels. Some of them have already had the opportunity to try them and were impressed by the lightness of the carbon plate and the far more responsive feedback compared with the stock 28 cm Thrustmaster rim. This is how Cristian Malghera, winner of the 2019 SRL GT & Prototypes Challenge in the GT3 category, described his impressions after receiving our Rim as a prize.
