After a long and demanding process of research, study and design, NGASA becomes a reality. Focusing on realism, strength and design, 3DRap offers sim racers around the world a small yet remarkable Made in Italy gem. A pedal set with a rugged design, made of 3mm-thick satin-finished steel to ensure maximum strength and, at the same time, thanks to the ergonomic paddles, one of the innovations introduced with NGASA, greater comfort when using the pedals barefoot.
Thanks to the exclusive design, conceived to improve the ergonomics of all three pedals, it is possible to increase the feel of the device, a crucial detail for shaving a hundredth of a second off lap times and improving performance.
NGASA, the New 3DRap Pedal Set
As always, 3DRap aims to meet and satisfy the needs of every Sim Racing driver. Sim Racing is one of the most widespread and popular eSports among four-wheel enthusiasts, and one to which 3DRap continuously brings major innovations. This is the case with the new NGASA pedal set, available in various versions: individual pedals, GT Kit (3 pedals), Formula Kit (2 pedals). Furthermore, the throttle and clutch pedals are available in two configurations: Standard and PRO.
It starts with 32-bit electronics. The Hall sensors used for the throttle and clutch pedals, and the load cell for the brake pedal, offer high resolution (12 and 24 bits). In the first two pedals, this raises the quality standard perceived by the driver and increases the reliability and durability of the device, as it does not use mechanical parts subject to wear. In the brake pedal, it provides a clean signal that translates into more precise, better-modulated braking, with a much more realistic braking feel.
3DRap Pedals: Technology and Mechanics
3DRap has also focused on the feel that the throttle and clutch pedals should provide, as they are generally given less attention than the brake. In the Pro version, it has introduced the new CBF system (Cam Based Feeling), which makes the feel even more realistic by allowing the pedal’s character to be customized through the use of a cam. The cam can be easily replaced and interchanged with others offered by the same company, with the aim of customizing the pedal response as much as possible.
Another important feature that places IGNITION at a very high level of quality is its proprietary bootloaders and firmware. The former make it possible to optimize the performance of the hardware used, while the latter allow the device to be updated via USB at any time.
