In an ACI Sport announcement, all the details regarding the issuance of ACI ESport 2021 licenses were published. These licenses are mandatory to participate in the sim racing championships organized by the national ACI ESport federation.
Among other things, the new regulations of the Esports Federation govern competitor, driver, and competitordriver licenses.
A distinctive feature of ACI Sport licenses concerns Competitors. The regulations allow applicants to register as a natural person in the capacity of a competitor, without having legal personality. This will allow anyone to register an entire team of up to six drivers or six cars.
The first scheduled ACI ESport championship is the 2021 ACI ESport Italian Gran Turismo Championship. Registration will open on January 21 and close on January 26, and the championship will be contested using the PC version of Assetto Corsa Competizione.
To obtain the license, which is essential for registration, you can visit your nearest ACI office, which you can find on the ACI contact page. Alternatively, as a new option this year, you can apply from home, by phone or even by email, by directly contacting one of the ACI licensing offices.
