Thrustmaster, one of the leading manufacturers of driving simulators, and the FIA (Fédération Internationale de l’Automobile) have announced their new partnership.
From now on, Thrustmaster will support the FIA in the Rally Star Program, an initiative aimed at discovering talent among the youngest rally drivers. The Rally Star competition is open to all WRC 9 players between the ages of 17 and 26.
The FIA and WRC launched this program in August 2020, and in December 2020 Nacon enabled console and PC users to access the qualifying program.
At the end of the selection process, the seven finalists, including at least one female driver as required by the regulations, will receive personalized tutoring supervised by the FIA and based on the French Federation’s Rallye Jeunes. This is the final step before entering the FIA Junior WRC.

In addition to contributing its expertise to the selection of young talent, Thrustmaster will also provide the hardware and technical support for the tutoring program.
A key initiative that brings sim racing ever closer to being recognized as a real, fully fledged sport.
Thrustmaster is committed to developing platforms capable of delivering increasingly realistic and immersive sensations. Thanks to their build quality, these platforms can also be customized and improved with little effort. For this reason, at 3DRap we constantly strive to use our expertise and technology to provide mods and add-ons for Thrustmaster, as well as for Logitech and Fanatec, that can enhance your driving experience.
If you missed the registration deadline, don’t worry. This news is surely only the beginning and a sign of growing interest in this esport!
