AiM Technologies Turns Its Attention to Sim Racing

Anyone involved in motorsport will certainly be familiar with AiM, a leading company in the development of data acquisition and information devices used in the automotive and motorcycle industries.

Recently, the new trends increasingly focused on virtual experiences have also convinced AiM to enter the esports and sim racing sectors. The company has unveiled its first range of displays and dashboards designed for sim racing. This means that both professional drivers who train with driving simulators and esports professionals will be able to use its products, which have always been considered top of the range.

AiM products allow users to view, download and analyze their training data to improve their performance. They provide targeted analytical support for training.

Compatibility and Products

Compatibility is currently limited to iRacing and Assetto Corsa, but compatibility with rFactor 2 is also being tested.

Data and display loggers can be installed on steering wheels, with models divided into different price ranges and feature sets.

The entry-level range is covered by the MXS 1.2 Strada. It features a high-contrast 5-inch display with TFT technology, showing the main essential information. It connects via USB and interfaces with the drivers and Race Studio 3 software provided by AiM.

The other two products currently available are the MXG 1.2 Strada and the MXP 1.2 Strada, which offer advanced features and a larger monitor.

The price list and all the complete information are available on AiM’s official website.
