2017 was a year of consolidation for our team, and we want to take this opportunity to thank all of you for the tremendous support you have given us over these months.
Starting a company, startup, or any kind of venture is often very difficult and full of challenges. But it is even harder to keep up that success over time. Over these 12 months, 3DRap can say it has done just that through significant initiatives in both sim racing and 3D prototyping.
It is worth recalling the launch of important partnerships with leading organizations such as:
- Eumakers
- Megaride
- Unisa Racing Team
- Aeron Simulator
- Texas Squadra Corse
- Cibierre Team
- Virtual Racing Group
- Mario Schiano Bikes
- Inview South Corea
- Startup Grind Napoli
- Napoli Startup Weekend
- Fablab Napoli
- Speed Max Racing
- SimRacingMania
- Crowdfunding Formazione
- Campania New Steel
It was also an immense pleasure for us to receive awards from the Municipality of Mercogliano (as part of the “Mercogliano LAB” event), the WeStart team (as part of the “We Start Challenge”), and TIM-Telecom Italia Mobile (as part of the “Premio Best Practices” organized by Confindustria Salerno).
Events and Opportunities
These months were also a wonderful opportunity to meet you at incredible events such as:
- SMAU Berlin at the Italian Embassy and Palazzo Italia (where we also unveiled our new logo)
- Futuro Remoto in Piazza Plebiscito in Naples
- Technology Hub at Fiera Milano City
- Linux Day at Tilt in Avellino
- Castellarte at our headquarters
- Forum Giovani in Venticano
- Finestra sul lavoro at the University of Salerno
- Trasformazione digitale at the Federico II University of Naples
- Lectures at Sapienza University of Rome, the Polytechnic University of Milan, and the University of Naples Parthenope
- Technology Biz at the Mostra d’Oltremare in Naples
- Maker Faire Rome at Nuova Fiera Roma
The success of the Polysplit campaign then gave us the chance to take the stage at Tilt alongside Ceres and U.S. Avellino to present the official jersey of our city’s football team, which competes in Serie B.
And finally, Poly, an innovative project that brought us coverage in publications around the world through a Kickstarter fundraising campaign, gave us the opportunity to appear during prime time on Caterpillar on Radio Rai 2, and enabled us to secure important agreements to begin large-scale production.
We are more than ready to take on the new year with many new projects that we will reveal over the coming months. We look forward to seeing you in 2018!
