This year, we once again attended Maker Faire Rome. Naturally, we focused mainly on stands dedicated to drones and 3D printers, and were particularly impressed by this year’s new attraction: the House of Drones.
But what is Maker Faire?
“Maker Faire is the world’s largest innovation event, an exhibition for the whole family that puts creativity and ingenuity center stage while celebrating the Maker Movement. Maker Faire is where innovators of the third millennium showcase the projects they are working on and share technological and craft knowledge.
With more than 600 maker exhibitors alongside innovative SMEs, schools and Fab Labs, the 2015 edition was a great success, attracting over 100,000 visitors!”
These are just a few facts about Maker Faire Rome, the largest innovation event dedicated to the maker movement, held at Sapienza University of Rome from October 16 to 18. Here are some photos (you can find the full album here):
-

- Joseph Prusa (designer of the Prusa i3)

-

- The world’s largest 3D printer
We’ll leave you with a video of all the stands we visited. Enjoy watching!
