Over the past few weeks, we have had the pleasure of meeting many new people, as we were contacted about a truly important project that we cannot reveal anything about at the moment.
However, we decided to share the story of one of the many people with whom we have embarked on this journey.
His name is Beniamino Izzo, a mechanical engineer who is also a model maker, a brilliant designer and 3D artist, as well as the founder and administrator of the renowned website Playerzone.it.
PlayerZone.it was founded in September 2004 with the aim of becoming “The Gamer’s Zone,” a meeting place for PC gaming enthusiasts from across the entire gaming world. In 2005, with around one hundred members, PlayerZone’s management decided to enter the field of online competitions by founding PLZ-Clan, a multigaming community that included a racing team competing on the Live For Speed and Richard Burns Rally simulators.
Over time, the PLZ Racing Team expanded further and further, embracing a wide variety of PC simulators. Thanks to the fantastic drivers who have been part of the team over the years, it has gained international recognition in virtual competitions. The PLZ-Team is open to anyone, whether experienced or just starting out, who wishes to approach computer driving simulation professionally, and boasts national and world titles. Among the many university, amateur and professional projects created by Beniamino, we would like to highlight the PLZ Vintage Racing Seat v1, which will be unveiled to the public tomorrow.
We are truly delighted and proud to have had the opportunity to meet Beniamino and his entire team, and we sincerely hope that this project will be only the first in a long series. Stay tuned!
