BRAKE PEDAL MOD FOR FANATEC CSL LOAD CELL
This Brake MOD increases the realism and performance of the load cell on the Fanatec CSL pedal / Elite / Elite v2 LC. Allows various effects adjustments and completely improves the way you brake!
Whether you are braking hard or braking lightly, the original setup will allow for inaccurate modulation. The foot will not easily feel the intensity of the force applied to the pedal.
Thanks to our Brake MOD, the brake pedal will become similar to that of a real car: the greater the pressure on the pedal, to obtain more intense braking, the harder it will become.
- This effect helps you a lot during long racing sessions, when the leg loses much of its sensitivity and in the most difficult braking you are no longer able to dose the pedal well.
- You will avoid locking the wheels.
Brake Mod – Linear to Progressive
The graphic feedback shows how our MOD guarantees a wider range of use, recovers a large percentage of useful travel compared to the original configuration of the CSL LC, and corrects the curve ramp.
It is possible to use the brake pedal in 5 configurations, combining our elastomers and the inserts supplied by Fanatec:
- Linear (with 1 “LINEAR” elastomer), allows you to recover 36% of the stroke and always use it all during braking, obtaining clear and intense braking. Characteristic of cars with covered wheels (GT, Rally, Drift).
- Full Linear (with 2 “LINEAR” elastomers), amplifies the effect of the Linear configuration, and adds pedal travel up to 53%.
- Progressive (with 1 “PROGRESSIVE” elastomer), allows you to recover 20% of the stroke and obtain a braking that becomes very intense in the final part of the curve, weighing down the pedal more suddenly. Characteristic of slender, light and very performing cars (formula).
- Full Progressive (with 2 “PROGRESSIVE” elastomers), amplifies the effect of the Progressive configuration, and adds pedal travel up to 32%.
- Hybrid (with 1 “LINEAR” elastomer and 1 “PROGRESSIVE” elastomer), allows you to recover 43% of the stroke and obtain an initially linear braking that gradually becomes more abrupt (LMP and Prototypes).
The material
Brake Mods for Fanatec CSL are made with a special elastomer, with shape memory.
For the CSL Elite it is suggested to purchase the elastomers in pairs (not individually) to respect the offsets.

MOD PEDALE FRENO PER FANATEC CSL LOAD CELL
Questa MOD Freno incrementa il realismo e la performance della cella di carico sulla pedaliera Fanatec CSL / Elite / Elite v2 LC. Consente diverse regolazioni degli effetti e migliora completamente il modo di frenare!
Sia che tu stia facendo una frenata intensa, sia che tu stia frenando poco, la configurazione originale consentirà una modulazione poco accurata. Il piede non avvertirà facilmente l’intensità della forza applicata al pedale.
Grazie alla nostra Brake MOD il pedale del freno diventerà simile a quello di un’auto reale: maggiore sarà la pressione sul pedale, per ottenere una frenata più intensa, più questo diventerà duro.
- Questo effetto ti aiuta molto durante le lunghe sessioni di gara, quando la gamba perde gran parte della sua sensibilità e nelle frenate più difficili non riesci più a dosare bene il pedale.
- Eviterai di bloccare le ruote.
Mod Freno – Da Lineare a Progressivo
Nel riscontro grafico si evidenzia come la nostra MOD garantisce un range di utilizzo più ampio, recupera una grossa percentuale di corsa utile rispetto alla configurazione originale della CSL LC, e corregge la rampa della curva.
E’ possibile utilizzare il pedale del freno in 5 configurazioni, combinando i nostri elastomeri e gli inserti forniti da Fanatec:
- Linear (con 1 elastomero “LINEAR”), consente di recuperare il 36% della corsa e sfruttarla sempre tutta durante una staccata ottenendo una frenata netta e intensa. Caratteristica di vetture a ruote coperte (GT, Rally, Drift).
- Full Linear (con 2 elastomeri “LINEAR”), amplifica l’effetto della configurazione Linear, e aggiunge corsa al pedale fino al 53%.
- Progressive (con 1 elastomero “PROGRESSIVE”), consente di recuperare il 20% della corsa e ottenere una frenata che diventa molto intensa nella parte finale della curva appesantendo il pedale in maniera più repentina. Caratteristica di vetture esili, leggere e molto performanti (formula).
- Full Progressive (con 2 elastomeri “PROGRESSIVE”), amplifica l’effetto della configurazione Progressive, e aggiunge corsa al pedale fino al 32%.
- Hybrid (con 1 elastomero “LINEAR” e 1 elastomero “PROGRESSIVE”), consente di recuperare il 43% della corsa e ottenere una frenata inizialmente lineare che diventa mano mano più brusca (LMP e Prototipi).
Il Materiale
Le Mod freno per Fanatec CSL sono realizzate con un elastomero speciale, con memoria di forma.
Per la Csl Elite si suggerisce di acquistare gli elastomeri in coppia (non singolarmente) per rispettare gli offset.

Massively impressed with this kit, had issues of my rig pedal plate flexing more than the original pedal was actually moving, after strengthening many things on my rig, still was struggling to get a good feel for the brake pedal due to just how little it travels, stumbled across this mod, bought both types and can say its well worth the money, they really do put the work in to make a product that is well tested and meets the needs of the user, have now fitted both progressive elastomers and tuned the software to suit and couldn’t be happier with always the option to mix and match or swap out for the full linear depending on car style.

Very happy with the elastomer mod upgrade. I have the Fanatec Elite LC pedals and the brake felt way too stiff and had no feel. After upgrading to these elastomers (2x progressive), it tremendously improved the feel of the pedal. It feels more realistic, which makes it better to use. Definitely recommend these.

i upgraded the csl break with 2 progressive elastometer. it makes the break sooo much more useable. i think i buy after some weeks of getting used to it 2 linear elastometer too. but for now ism very happy to have a break that feels great and consistant

NOT EVEN CLOSE! (Running 2x Linear) My girlfriend got me these for my birthday and I can actually use my wheel stand (Limited space) now with the load cell without sliding back! Very nice I wish Fanatec would’ve shipped with something like this!
