As you know, we eagerly awaited this important event because it was an excellent opportunity for us to grow and expand our knowledge. And that is exactly what happened. The exhibition area was huge, as was the number of stands, not to mention the visitors (more than 90,000!). The innovations presented in various fields were genuinely interesting and practical. They made us realize how many brilliant young people are ready to make our future brighter from an environmental, healthcare and industrial perspective. The pavilion dedicated to “3D PRINTING” was simply fantastic. All the leading companies in the industry (most of them proudly ITALIAN) were there, right before our eyes. WASP, KENTSTRAPPER and many others put on a real show of strength, displaying their brand-new professional and consumer printers, which they will launch on the market soon. The message was clear: “in case anyone hasn’t noticed yet, 3D printing is going to make a powerful entrance into every production process.”

We also had the chance (to our pleasant surprise) to buy PLA filament for our Prusa at extremely good prices.
Besides the makers (the undisputed stars of the fair), we also saw major companies such as MICROSOFT, ROLAND ITALIA, INTEL and others with their own stands. This showed just how much interest and investment the “maker movement” has attracted. Many have described this phenomenon as the “democratization of innovation and manufacturing”: giving everyone the opportunity to innovate, prototype and produce something entirely independently, without necessarily belonging to a multinational company’s research team. To sum up, we can say without reservation that we had a unique experience in a truly enchanting setting (Rome’s Auditorium Parco della Musica), and we highly recommend that all enthusiasts, families and schools attend the next edition.
