Art & Design
From an idea, a physical object or a 3D file to a finished piece: we create custom projects at any scale, without molds and with full geometric freedom.
Custom production for Art & Design
3DRap Factory provides additive manufacturing for artists, designers, creative studios, stage designers, museums, places of worship and public institutions turning complex digital shapes into physical objects.
- Large-format 3D printing
- One-off pieces and custom projects
- Segmenting and assembling XXL works
- Full design freedom without mold investment
- Support from 3D modeling to production
- A wide selection of materials, finishes and colors: marble and wood effects, a broad color palette and flexible materials such as TPU
Artworks, reproductions and custom subjects produced directly from digital models.
Display, decorative, museum, trade show and stage elements with unrestricted geometry.
Accessories, concepts, distinctive shapes and custom objects made without molds.
Large installations and artworks, modular structures, cladding, stage and architectural elements.
From a digital model to a physical part, layer by layer.
Additive manufacturing turns a digital model into a physical object by depositing material layer by layer. Each layer builds complex shapes directly from the file, without molds or dedicated tooling.

Big ideas. Built at any scale.
The build volume of one printer does not limit the final size of a work. For larger projects, we divide the model into parts optimized for production and then assemble them.
This approach makes it possible to produce statues, sculptures, installations and design components much larger than a single printer’s build volume.

From physical object to 3D model
A project does not have to start from a file. In partnership with Anima Campania, we can support production with 3D scanning and modeling, digitizing real objects, forms and subjects into models ready for processing and printing, for both restoration and reproduction and the creation of new artworks.
This is particularly useful for restoration, reproduction, reinterpretation, scale changes, reconstruction of missing parts and new artworks, as well as art projects that have no digital model yet.
From digital form to physical object
Since 2016, 3DRap Factory has brought additive manufacturing into art, culture and heritage. Over ten years, we have turned digital models into statues, replicas, reliefs, installations and new artworks: from Madonna della Neve and the Mary Help of Christians in Albania, to the restoration of the Saint William bas-relief, and the exhibition “Mute Maniere” at the Aragonese Castle in Baia. Our journey has also included museum openings and cultural events, culminating in our participation in Devotio Bologna 2026 alongside Anima Campania, bringing together 3D printing, sacred art and heritage digitization in one exhibition space.
Art, place and people: ten years of projects worth sharing
Over the past ten years, 3DRap Factory’s work across art, culture and local heritage has attracted media attention. Projects, initiatives and collaborations have been covered by local and national media, highlighting the use of 3D printing for artistic reproduction, heritage conservation and contemporary works. This press coverage has followed the growth of 3DRap Factory and the meeting of technology, art and place.
